What is Froogloid?
First let’s start with the name, Froogloid. It was derived from two words, frugal and android. Get it? Well, it’s simple really. We’re frugal, aka “economically viable”, which is a fancy way of saying funded by our own pockets. And Android, which you’re likely familiar with, is google’s mobile device operating system. In conclusion, Froogloid is a self-funded, bootstrapping, mobile application design and build company.
Froogloid’s Vision:
You’ve probably noticed a dynamic shift in the mobile device arena. The days of purchasing a mobile phone and being stuck with limited, unchangeable feature sets will soon be a distant memory. Open source operating systems, such as Android, are enabling such a change. The catch is there has to be a willing and able development community ready to support the paradigm shift. This is where Froogloid fits in! We’re committed to building innovative, user friendly mobile applications that will ultimately enrich a mobile users experience. Being innovative in the mobile application space is critical and if you’re not riding the wave of change, you’re getting swallowed alive! This is why Froogloid is focused on being forward looking. Our goal is not to reinvent desktop computer applications on a mobile device, but rather to leverage the data capabilities of the internet to enrich a consumer’s real-time mobile experience.
